Product Description:
Acousti-Mat® CSD is the sound deadening solution for use over Marino/Ware & Dietrich corrugated steel deckfloor systems that in the past has been impossible to control the impact sound transmission! Now you can put an end to those "noise" complaints when using steel decking with solid flooring such as Wood and Tile!
Acousti-Mat CSD consists of a nylon core of fused, entangled filaments attached to a non-woven fabric, similar to Maxxon's Acousti-Mat II, only two times thicker. It's a proven fact that the larger the air space, the greater the sound control - and this system creates the largest air void of any sound control mat specifically designed to install over corrugated steel decking. Acousti-Mat CSD increases IIC and STC levels over Corrugated Steel Decking and when combined with the floor ceiling assembly is well over 50 points on STC and IIC.
Acousti-Mat CSD also require NO prefilling of the flutes or wire reinforcement.
